Truth be told, I research so many different restaurants and with the extensive amount of places I can choose from, some are forgotten. Every so often, I'll forget to set a reminder to go to a certain place or just get overwhelmed with the amount of options. Bon Ton is one of those spots that I forgot about..UNFORTUNATELY. Why has it taken me so long to go here? The worst part is that I’m in the area ALL.THE.TIME. Anyway, I digress, the food is bomb!! Anytime a place has reviews like this one does, I always think to myself "you should probably check it out".
Enough rambling..I made it a point to try as many things on the menu as my stomach could handle and I think I did a pretty good job (check out the spread).
My main meal was Moules Frites and the picture does not do this entrée justice because there were so many bits and pieces left to be enjoyed once I plowed through all those mussels (bacon, herbs, butter, shallots, magic). If you are someone who appreciates a good sauce, especially sopped up with a nice piece of buttery bread, you’ll love this place.
The five spice BBQ shrimp was a also a winner, another example of well thought out ingredients that come together so effortlessly.
This drink I had was also really really good. Shout out to the mixologists at Bon Ton for creating such stellar combinations. I would tell you what it is but 1.) I can't recall the exact name and 2.) I don’t want you to be disappointed if they don’t have it when you visit as it is a summer special.
So yea, basically what I’m trying to say is when you go take me with you because there’s too much to try here and I’ve made it a personal mission to eat and drink everything on the menu.
