This is a super tasty dish that can be ready in no time. Simply make my easy olive tapenade and season the fish with salt, pepper, and olive oil. The olive tapenade recipe is linked at the bottom of this post.

How to prepare this dish
You'll begin by making the easy olive tapenade. In short, you just have to combine the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until the ingredients meet your desired consistency.
Make sure you spread the salt evenly over each filet and season with as much fresh cracked pepper as you desire. This step is definitely needed, especially if you decided not to add either to your tapenade as I did.
About the salmon filets
The time and temperature is based on the amount and particular cut of salmon used. I used 2 pounds of thick salmon filets with the skin on. Each cut was about 1 ½ inches in thickness at the thickest place. Make special note of this because how long your salmon cooks will depend on this. If you have thinner salmon filets, your oven time will decrease drastically.
Once your oven is preheated, the salmon is ready to bake!
