This may just be the easiest recipe you make for Thanksgiving. All you have to do is put everything in a pot and cook it slowly on the stovetop. If you have fresh ginger you can use that for an extra boost of flavor. If not, ground ginger works well also. Don't forget to remove the spices before serving!!!!
Watch me make Spiced Cranberry Sauce here
A holiday favorite for sure....all of the flavors of the season plus aromatic oranges, and ginger come together here.
Slow and low is best
This one takes some time to complete but it's also really rewarding to make because the aroma fills up your space and provides such an elegant smell; one that would rival a great candle.
Spiced Cranberry Sauce is easy
Even though it does take some time for all of the spices to come together, it's pretty much a "set and forget" recipe. You will want to return to the stove periodically to stir but it's pretty low maintenance. Also, this is a great side dish to make the day before because if you let the cranberry sauce sit in the fridge, the flavors will really get a chance to mature.
Enjoy this Spiced Cranberry Sauce!!
